Spring is near...

This is the last blotch of our winter snow, finally!
I caught Jim running over the other one with the tractor the other day, his way of saying good-bye to winter I, suppose.

Locally 11.5 feet of snow fell, per the US Forest Service.  At its peak, we measured 53" that had settled on the ground here at Meadowrock.
Today promises to be one of those sunny spring days we've been anticipating.  The pastures are devoid of snow now and have turned a lush green.  The alpacas are salivating.
The hyacinths are always the first to bloom, the daffodils are all budded and ready to burst.  With today's sunshine, maybe tomorrow?
