How do you use dynamic wallpaper club? ›

Click on the  in the top left of the menu bar, go to “System Preferences and open “Desktop & Screen Saver” Choose one of the Dynamic Wallpapers delivered out of the box with macOS and set it to “Dynamic” in the dropdown.

When you use a dynamic desktop picture, the desktop picture automatically changes to match the time of day in your location. Click Wallpaper in System Settings, then choose a picture for Dynamic Desktop. To have your screen change based on your time zone, enable Location Services.

In order for Dynamic Desktop mode to work, your macOS wallpaper needs to be set to the Mojave Dynamic Desktop and the “Dynamic” option needs to be selected (not “Light” or “Dark” or “Automatic.”) macOS will automatically set this to “Dark” the first time you enter Dark Mode. In Catalina this is still required.

And you can only see the animation on the lock screen. DYNAMIC wallpaper is wallpaper that is animated on the lock screen and the springboard behind your phone icons continuously. You don't have to force rich DYNAMIC wallpaper. You simply set the wallpaper as your background and the animation runs continuously.

A static wallpaper on iOS devices or Android phones can be less appealing but it does require less power. Dynamic wallpapers require more from your phone's processor. This means a live wallpaper drains your battery faster.

Why Apple removed Live Wallpapers. Apple started offering Live Wallpapers five years ago with iOS 11, and with the release of iOS 16, the company quietly took away this feature, which also included Apple's official Dynamic Wallpapers that moved on the lock screen.

Along with a wealth of additional features, iOS 16 brings new Live Wallpapers to users. While they look absolutely fantastic, some users may not know how to implement them, or, even worse, the Wallpaper may not work properly.

Live Wallpapers are designed to exclusively work on the Lock Screen of your iPhone. Additionally, they are engineered to only work when you tap and hold onto the wallpaper. However, if the 3D Touch and Haptic Touch are set to OFF, your 'potentially Live Wallpaper', will remain nothing more than a still image.

How do you use Dynaper? ›

Simply drag & drop your images and change the display time for each image. Dynaper will change time automatically if the image contains EXIF metadata or contains a time suffix in the filename. For a quick time change using the autosuggest feature.

In the Settings app, tap Wallpaper. Tap Add New Wallpaper. Select Photo Shuffle from the top row of options. On the Photo Shuffle screen, set a frequency (On Tap, On Lock, Hourly, or Daily).
