However, you may also be in a hurry to maximize gains and reach the highest level as soon as possible.

How to Level Up Fast in FFXIV (1)

In this entry, we’ll share a few tips on how to level up fast in Final Fantasy XIV. You’ll learn how to quickly improve the skills of both your character and your Chocobo, allowing you to breeze through the game.

How to Level Up Fast in FFXIV

If you’re an FFXIV beginner, the most efficient way to level up fast is to follow the Class Quests and Main Scenario Quests. Following the storyline is fun and helps you unlock new gameplay features, locations and gain EXP in many other ways. All of which will give you a tremendous experience boost.

As you reach higher levels, you can also try the following strategies:

  • Hunting Logs – Every Grand Company and Base Class has logs with a specific number of enemies you need to defeat. The tasks usually involve getting extra kills in regions you need to access anyway. Therefore, you can get a massive EXP boost with minimal effort.
  • FATEs – FATEs randomly show up on the map and award you a sizeable chunk of EXP based on your contribution and level. Looking for them can be time-consuming, but make sure to complete FATEs whenever you stumble upon one.
  • Challenge Logs – These challenges can include completing FATEs and clearing Dungeons. Besides the individual Trial/Dungeon rewards, they also allow you to level up fast. These logs reset every week.
  • Sanctuary Buff – Be sure to place your character in your Sanctuary whenever logging off. This way, you’ll acquire a solid Rested Bonus during your next session. The bonus is pretty significant, granting you an extra 50% battle experience.
  • Food Buff – Buy the most affordable food at a shop and consume it for a 3% experience kill bonus. You can even drink water to achieve this effect. It’ll last for 30 minutes and gives you two stacks. The EXP boost may be slight, but considering how simple it is to activate, using it is highly recommended.
  • Joining Free Companies – FFXIV Free Companies are player guilds that activate EXP bonuses up to 15% to all their members. The number of EXP points you receive depends on your Company, but they are a sure-fire way to level up fast.

Several equipment bonuses will contribute to your EXP gain, too:

  • Brand-new Ring – This item grants you a 30% EXP bonus until your character reaches Level 31. Getting it is highly recommended since the only requirement is to complete the Hall of the Novice missions. They are short challenges and a smooth introduction to the game’s combat system.
  • Friendship Circlet – The Friendship Circlet awards you a 20% EXP bonus. To achieve this effect, you’ll need to recruit a friend with the game’s invite system. Alternatively, you can get recruited and stay subscribed for 30 days. The bonus will last until you reach Level 26.
  • Menphina’s Earring – This item can be obtained if you pre-order the Endwalker Expansion. It also gives you a 30% EXP boost and lasts until your character reaches Level 80.

FFXIV How to Level Up Fast 50-60?

Reaching Level 50 is much easier than progressing your character beyond this threshold. The experience requirements multiply, making it more challenging to reach new levels. You also get reduced Armory Bonuses from high-level classes at this point.

Your best bet is to complete Dungeons with as many EXP boosts as possible (Food Buffs, Sanctuary Buffs, etc.). The Palace of the Dead will prove especially useful because it lets you go through random floors and fight a boss every 10 floors. You get a large amount of EXP for defeating each boss, as well as Poetics Tomestones and Lore/Scripture Tomestones.

Keep returning to the Palace of the Dead until you reach Level 60 and are ready for new challenges.

How to Level Up to 60-70

Leveling up beyond Level 60 is even more difficult than progressing through the previous level range. There are even higher EXP demands with more formidable enemies.

The most fruitful tactic at this point might be to complete Daily Roulettes. They’re a match-making system in your Duty Finder that sets up various Raids and Dungeons. They offer exceptional EXP rewards that give you a significant boost once a day. Consequently, each Roulette type gives you bonus rewards after your first completion per day.

The Leveling Roulette and Alliance Roulette are especially generous with their rewards. The same goes for the Main Scenario Roulette. The two Dungeons included may be tedious, but completing them gives you some of the most significant possible experience rewards.

How to Level Up to 70-80

After reaching Level 70, you can keep doing Dungeons with various EXP boosts to level up. However, you can also complete quests for the Pixies.

Once you’ve completed the Wheel Turns Quests, you can visit the Pink Pixie in the Crystarium and unlock Pixie Beast Tribe Quests:

How to Level Up Fast in Eureka

There are several ways to level up fast in Eureka. If you’re exploring the world on your own, you should focus on eliminating enemies who are on the same level as you. The only downside is that you may not be able to kill them quickly enough to create Chain Multipliers to increase your EXP gain. Also, try to avoid enemies’ other parties or players have already tagged or claimed.

Alternatively, traversing Eureka in a group is much more efficient for leveling up. It enables you to take on higher-level enemies for more EXP. The experience may be split between the party members, but you’ll level up much faster since you can build a Multiplier Chain quickly.

The real fun starts when your party amasses eight members. These groups can conquer enemies approximately four levels higher, allowing them to maximize the experience gain. However, things can get quite dicey, so be sure to bring a few Healers with you.

Finally, make sure to fight the Notorious Monster whenever it spawns, even if someone else has already claimed it. It’ll give you a tremendous amount of experience and have a good chance of leaving Crystals.

How to Level Up Chocobo Fast

Your Chocobo gains EXP when you eliminate monsters on the Field. This can be especially helpful if you’re already doing Field missions, such as Beast Tribe Quests and Fates. To supplement this strategy, you also want to unlock your Challenge Log through the Rising to the Challenge quest from I’tolwann.

The initial maximum rank of Chocobos is 10, but you can raise it by one level (up to 20) by feeding them a Thavnairian Onion. Otherwise, they’ll gain no EXP until you increase their rank.

You can acquire guaranteed Thavnairian Onions by completing the “Landing a Stable Job” quest from Mathye. “A Hunter’s True Nature” quest has the same effect.

Furthermore, don’t forget to complete the “Bird in Hand” quest from Luquelot to access a Chocobo Stable. It enables you to corral and feed your Chocobo every hour, raising its EXP. Best of all, other users can feed your Chocobo when you’re offline or busy.

How to Level Up Weaver Fast

Reaching Level 15 as a Weaver is relatively simple. To obtain as much experience as possible, try to craft high-level items without failing. To facilitate your grind, acquire an Engineering Manual and use it to craft a plethora of items. Completing Grand Company Turn-ins is another way to gain EXP fast as a Weaver.

From Level 15 to Level 30, you should focus on Levequests. These missions go a long way in grinding levels because they’re repeatable.

You can also rely on Levequests to reach Level 70 and beyond. There are also additional quests you can participate in. These include the Splendors Exchange and Moogle Beast Tribe quests.

How to Level Up DPS Fast

DPS is a crucial metric for any class that depends on high damage output, such as Archers and Lancers. The fastest way to improve this skill is through Daily Roulettes. They’ll give you at least two levels per day until you reach Level 64. At this point, the EXP gain slows down to 1.5 levels a day.

It may not seem impressive, but they take much less time to complete than Dungeons. To make your journey even smoother, make sure to invite a Healer and Tank to your party.

Let the Grind Begin

Leveling up fast in FFXIV lets you unlock tons of heart-racing content. It also allows you to improve your skills more quickly and take on high-level enemies without a hitch.

But don’t focus on your character only – make sure to provide enough experience for your Chocobo so that your companion can keep up. The result will be a much smoother and enjoyable journey throughout the game.
