Crunchyroll revealed theMushoku Tensei: Jobless ReincarnationSeason 2 anime preview trailer during its Anime Expo 2022 industry panel. The anime is scheduled for 2023 with Studio Bind in charge of the animation production.
Mushoku Tensei‘s first season ran from 2020 to 2021. The first cour was released during the Winter 2020 season, while the second cour was released during the Fall 2021 season.
The animeis based on the Kadokawa-published isekai light novel series written byRifujin na Magonotewith illustrations fromShirotaka. The light novels are published under the MF Books label. The story began in 2012 as a web novel on Shousetsuka ni Narou.
