In Assassin's Creed Odyssey, you can find a merchant at Pilgrim's Landing in Phokis that deals in rare and valuable merchandise. However, he only takes Orichalcum as currency for his treasures, and there's only a few ways you can get this resource.
Orichalcum appears in the world as glowing blue ore that shows up in the top right of your resource list in the map and menu.
The first way to earn Orichalcum is by completing Daily Quests. You can look for these at the Bounty Boards posted in all major cities. Those that bear the blue symbol mean that you'll be rewarded with around 10 Orichalcum Ore per quest, but you can usually only complete one a day.
However, there is another way to amass a wealth of the Orichalcum while you wait for the next quest. The ore itself can appear in the world as you explore, but unlike regular Iron Ore or Olive Wood, it's not so easy and plentiful.

In the world, Orichalcum Ore only appears in very remote areas far from towns or roads. You can find them on the tops of mountain peaks, under bridges, along deserted beaches or tiny rocky islands that border the coast of Greece, among other places.
