How to Respec in Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands

To access respec, you need to progress the main Wonderlands campaign for several quests until you acquire the Sword of Souls and fully restore Brighthoof following the siege early in the game.

You’ll eventually be escorted by Queen Butt Stallion to Shattergrave Barrow, where the Sword’s being held. A mischievous spirit named Zomboss is also after the Sword of Souls, and you’ll go through the entire zone chasing her, culminating in a boss fight. Defeat Zomboss, claim the Sword, and return to Brighthoof. There, you’ll be anointed the Hero of Brighthoof and given access to all the city’s amenities.

One such amenity is the Quick Change station in Lizzy’s Fizzies. Used primarily to alter your Fatemaker’s appearance sliders, there’s an option at the bottom of the screen that reads “Reset Skills.” Selecting it will bring up another menu where you can Respec Skills, Hero Points, or both.

Skills are the various passives available to your class, and Hero Points are your D&D style stats. The former change how your class functions at a core level, and the latter apply passive buffs to your damage, cooldowns, and health.

During the main story, you’ll gain a second class, and you’ll want to start putting points into it. However, you will nothave the ability to respec that second class’s skills until you complete the campaign, which takes at least 10-15 hours if you blast through it.

Be aware that your first few respecs will be free, but they will cost increasing amounts of gold. The cost is always 10% of your total gold. While that might not seem like much, if you’re looking to purchase gear from the Vending Machines or upgrade your SDUs, undergoing respec to oftenand the cost becomes somewhat prohibitive.

You’ll be forced forcing you to farm gold unless you land on a build you know works well. Most endgame weapons are worth a king’s ransom, thankfully, so it will only take a few of those to fuel another respec.

If you play enough to warrant multiple respecs beyond ten or so, you’ll likely make enough from selling trash loot that money will never be an object. That means effectively infinite respecs.

With that, you should know everything you need to know about how to respec in Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands. The process is simple, if a little arcane. Easily as arcane are the game’s server issues, which you might be able to fix using our guide on the matter. We’re adding more to our Wonderlands guides hub regularly, too.
