The Guardian is the tank class hero in Tribes of Midgard. It can be unlocked by defeating 3 Jotnar in a single World. If you fancy a class that can soak damage while damaging enemies at the same time, then the Guardian is definitely for you. While unlocking it is certainly not an easy feat, this guide can help you quickly and easily get through the challenge.

How To Unlock The Tribes of Midgard’s Guardian
- Play in a new world as a Warrior or Ranger. Note that defeating 3 Jotunn is easier with friends, so try to start a world with one or more companions.
- Level up and last until about Day 9. For this to be easy, try to counter invading Jotunn with their weaknesses. Your goal is to easily whittle them down before they arrive at your base.
- Once you defeat the 3rd Jotnar, use the Bifrost to exit the world and save your progress.
- If successful, proceed to the Progress screen, then select Challenges.
- Go to Class Challenges and click “Claim” on the Guard’s challenge to unlock the class.
- Start a new world and level up once to unlock and enjoy the Guardian.

Adepts of the god Forseti, Guardians are righteous defenders who taunt their enemies to protect their allies. Solemn in their duty, their legendary vigor can harness waves of attacks before unleashing an avalanche of their own.
