Andy the Apple (2024)

Andy the Apple is the titular protаgonist of Andy's Apple Farm. You play as Andy to complete multiple minigames as well as uncover the horrific secrets of the mysterious Eastwood Family and their fate.

History[]

As Thomas Eastwood[]

Thomas Eastwood was the creator of Andy's Apple Farm, a game made compatible with the CSMPC, and the founder of Eastwood Games. Under the influence of a dark entity, Thomas had been forced to murder his best friend, Arthur King, and would use the CSMPC to resurrect his dead relatives. In 1983, he succumbed to The Entity, and his soul was placed in his own game, resulting in both Thomas and Andy the Apple becoming paranormally tied. Throughout the game, Andy is clueless about the situation at hand and is unaware of the spirit that is connected to him.

Chapter 1[]

In Chapter 1, Andy's friends reveal they've taken his house key and he needs to play their minigames and earn Bonus Stickers to get it back. Andy fishes with Felix, sorts fruit with Margret, plays a song with Melody, and plays I Spy with Claus. Afterward, they tell Andy that his Key is in the Barn. After entering the barn, Andy's friends lock him inside, much to his dismay.

Andy wanders through the darkness before finding a lantern and an anthropomorphic pumpkin named Peter. Despite Andy saying he's looking for his key, Peter ignores him and forces him to play tag. After the game, Andy finally finds his house key.

Christmas Special[]

Andy and his friends celebrate Christmas at his house. Before opening presents, Andy hangs the stockings with Felix and assists Margret in baking apple cookies. Afterward, Andy and his friends open their presents, and when Andy opens his, it's revealed to be a mutilated head.

Noticing his friends have suddenly disappeared, Peter returns and Andy's creeped out by his reappearance. Peter reminds Andy of his previous actions as he tells him to play a game called Hide the Body. Andy tries to shift the blame for his actions onto Peter, but he says Andy's "fully aware of who is at fault here." Peter then morphs into a dark humanoid form and pursues Andy, who manages to escape.

Happy Valentines Day![]

In "Happy Valentines Day!", Claus gives Andy a Valentine's Day card that Andy is very happy about, only for the card to be mocking him for being alone, which disappoints him. Suddenly, he notices his friends have vanished again and that Peter has returned. Peter once again reminds Andy of his actions and that they're all his fault, with Andy telling him to stop.

The Monstrous Manor[]

In "The Monstrous Manor", Andy and his friends go inside an abandoned manor on Halloween to search for ghosts. Andy, Melody and Felix go into the basem*nt, while Claus and Margret go upstairs. Finding a door in the basem*nt, Andy tries to convince Felix not to open it, not knowing its contents.

Upon Felix opening the door, he discovers corpses, along with Melody who looked over to see. Andy remains worried and uninformed, and returning upstairs, Felix goes outside to wait while Andy and Melody go upstairs to find Claus and Margret. While searching, the two see a face in the dark, so Melody glows and confusingly, finds a plush of Andy. Andy goes to open a door only to see Melody has disappeared as well.

After seeing more eyes in the dark, Andy passes out, only for his friends to reveal they were pulling a prank on him, except he was scared too hard. Margret grabs Andy and the group goes to leave but the front door is locked. They then see a tall humanoid behind them, and believing it's the owner, apologize to and beg to let them out. After getting out, Margret explains to Felix that they went too far with their prank, but the corpses weren't part of it.

Andy is a red anthropomorphic apple with a singular green leaf on his head, matching his eyes and turtleneck sweater. He wears red knee-high boots, white overalls, and a pair of cartoony white gloves.

Chapter 2[]

In Chapter 2, Andy wears black tank top underneath blue button down short sleeved shirt with dark blue flowers, he wears white swim trunks. He has a surfboard.

Christmas Special[]

In the Christmas Special, Andy wears a candy-cane-stripe like red and white pajamas underneath with a green Christmas sweater with snowman and apple and white socks. He wears a red Santa hat.

Halloween Reskin/The Monstrous Manor[]

In the Halloween Reskin & "The Monstrous Manor", Andy wears an orange turtleneck sweater underneath black overalls. He wears black knee-high boots, black witch hat with an orange band and a pair of cartoony white gloves. He's dressed as a witch.

Personality[]

Andy is generally kind and outgoing, starting the game out by welcoming the player to his apple farm. He's very upbeat and talks happily for most of the game, despite threats that come his way.

He's quite naïve and doesn't seem to notice the way his 'friends' often do things against him, such as trapping him in the barn and writing a nasty card to him on Valentine's Day. He responds passively to these, treating what they did or said as a joke (often responding with something along the lines of, "Good one, guys!"). He seems to look up to his friends greatly, often taking what they say as the right thing, regardless of whether it is or not (when prompted into the barn he responds with, "Well, if you guys say so.").

It's debatable whether or not Andy is easily frightened; he doesn't seem worried about wandering around a dark barn or opening a present and seeing a literal corpse, however, he does seem scared whenever he encounters Peter the Pumpkin (terrified, in fact).

• Andy has a habit of saying "Wait" in his sentences.
  • Andy says "Guys" more than "Wait".
• Andy grows apples on his farm for two reasons, because it's easy to do, and because they can be given to his friends.^[3]
  • Andy grows apple trees by "spitting out seeds from his mouth or something". The seeds don't grow more apple people.^[4]
• There are no other apple people.^[5]
• Andy eats exclusively pears and cherries.^[6]
• Andy was the first character added to the game.^[7]
• Andy smells like apples and grass.^[8]
• M36games said that Andy's birthdate is March 17, 1983, the same date that Thomas died. The details of this aren't really clear.^[9]
• Andy doesn't bleed apple juice, and instead bleeds blood as he's "human on the inside".^[10]
• Andy has a "doppelgänger" named Bob, who is unknown to many people because he is a mysterious character.
• Andy listens to 80s pop, and calming almost lofi music.^[11]
