General Description
Egypt is one of the original 19 civilizations available in Civilization VI. Egypt is led by Cleopatra VII, the last Pharoh of Ptolemaic Egpyt as well as the lover of both Julius Caesar and Marc Anthony.

Strategy
Cleopatra's Egypt is best described as a jack-of-all-trades civilization, but one that leans most towards a cultural victory. Egypt will most likely want to found its cities alongside as many rivers as possible. In doing so, she provides herself with the greatest oppourtunty to build districts and wonders. From there, Egypt can pursue whatever victory condition she sees fit, but the extra boosts to wonder production lends itself best to cultural victories. Unlike other civilizations such as China and France, Egypt's bonus towards wonder production lasts the whole game so long as such wonders are built along a river.
Whichever victory condition Egypt seeks, she would do well to establish trade routes with other civilizations. Not only does Egypt receive extra Gold for each trade route to another civilization, but these trade routes also help Egypt's relationships to those civilizations grow, aiding her in making diplomatic friends or allies.
Leader Characteristics
- Leader Abilitiy - Mediterranean's Bride: Your Trade Routes to other civilizations provide +4 Gold for Egypt. Other civilizations' Trade Routes to Egypt provide +2 Food for them and +2 Gold for Egypt.
- Leader Agenda - Queen of the Nile: Likes civilizations with powerful militaries, and will try to ally with them to avoid damaging military conflicts. Dislikes civilizations with weak militaries.
Civilization Characteristics
- Unique Ability - Iteru: Districts and Wonders are built 15% faster if placed adjacent to a river. Floodplains do not block placement of districts and wonders.
- Unique Unit - Maryannu Chariot Archer: A unique Ancient Eramounted ranged unit which replaces the Heavy Chariot. It is capable of moving 4 tiles when starting on open terrain. Its ranged attacks are stronger than the normal Heavy Chariot and have a range of two.
- Unique Improvement - Sphinx: The Egyptian unique tile improvement.Can be built on Floodplains. Cannot be built next to another Sphinx. Provides +1 Culture and +1 Faith. Provides +2 Faith if next to a wonder.
